Commonly gum disease is acquired because of improper oral hygiene routines. Sometimes we fail to practice the correct ways and methods of maintaining the healthiness of our teeth. Another failure also is the use of proper tools in which it can gently clean the teeth. Dental floss may also contribute to the receding gum disease because the method can shred and cut into the gums. We are relying mostly on the toothpaste but gum disease may be acquired because we trust the product to much. Some other mouthwashes is not safe to use. These products are mostly alcohol based which dry out the oral cavity and leads to the growth of more bacteria. In addition, gum disease occurs because of failure to seek the advice of periodontal disease.
