Mouth gum disease is a common dental condition suffered by a lot of people and it is the inflammation or swelling of the gum tissues. If left untreated it can lead to serious oral conditions such as mouth ulcers or worse it can affect the tissues below the gum line thus resulting to tooth loss.

Excess accumulation of dental plaques is what causes mouth gum disease to occur. The mouth is full of bacteria and they convert sugar and starchy food into acids and toxins that cause gums to become irritated thus resulting to gingivitis and other forms of mouth gum disease.

Treatment of mouth gum disease is necessary in keeping a fit oral health. Mouth gum disease and periodontal disease can be entirely avoided with superior oral health hygiene. Brushing and flossing will keep bacteria away thus preventing peridontal disease.
