I’ll be the first to admit that I am an Army brat. My father was in the Army, so my family moved around a lot when I was young. I have seen my fair share of military equipment, including weapons. My two teenaged sons do chores around the house all week in exchange for an allowance each Friday. They usually save their money and buy an expensive item that they have been longing for. One evening, while I was cooking dinner, the boys came in with a few of their friends. All of the boys were toting military weapons. I was scared to death! Why were my children and their friends carrying around assault rifles? Where did they get them, and more importantly, what were they planning to do with them? The boys explained that they were military paintball guns. I was relieved to hear the news. I could not believe how much they resembled the real thing.
